Police have nabbed nearly 70 girls under the age of 18 since 2005. Most of them were released to foster or group homes. Those are just the official figures. Investigators think there are many more child prostitutes out there.

Sasmita, there are children who unfortunately have lost the innocence of youth early in life. These teens who prostitute themselves on the Internet are one such example. Maybe, they need to have a living and in their mind, this is the most expedient.

I’m certain in many of these cases, a lot of girls get raped and abused but never say anything. Kudos to these girls for standing up to abuse.
