There is a city here called CUBATAO. In the 80’s was the most poluuted city in the world. But compared to what we see in China, it’s heaven!

I have seen some pictures of air pollution in China and the pics alone make me cough.

It has grown to be so gross.

Respiratory diseases are high in China and its immediate neighbors on its borders.

Not a very serious problem because we have a law: Th Clean Air Act that has checked on smoke-belching vehicles, carbon emitting factories, etc, even smoking cigarettes in public places!

But then there are still violations of this law. The law is stricter on industries, though.

Rather oppressive, I agree.

But you know what? This law that also applies to cigarette smoking has been very helpful.

Hehe...

Is there a law there, too, banning smoking in public places?

The Act is not important Grace, what is more important is that whether people obey or disrespect the law. It’s good the Philippines folks are respecting the Act to keep that nation clean. We have also many such laws but it seems no one does care for it. That’s why pollution is too much in India as well. But China has certainly more than enough!
