Over here, too. But it going through a tough time getting accepted here. A majority is adamantly opposing a national ID system.

I’m sure that here, as well as over there, a national ID system is seen as a surveillance tool. Invasion of privacy is what people do not like about this, I guess.

That’s right. It is seen as a national surveillance tool. But whoever has been doing national surveillance does not need a national ID system to conduct that. National surveillance is a standard operating procedure.
