Contrary to alarmists’ pronouncements, the world is not running out of oil soon. A lot of reserves are still intact, though difficult to tap - no thanks to geopolitics, more than geology.

I believe they have endless pockets that they seemingly think they can fill. Sad, effects all of us. They can’t grasp they are ruining a lot of things in a lot of countries.

Sad and sickening, that’s true. It’s a grand conspiracy!
But if you ask those that started the idea that the world’s oil is all drying up soon, I bet they’ll just regard anything that calls their bluff as just another conspiracy theory.
For them, the perpetuation of this myth is nothing but sleek business acumen.

I believe this is something oil companies don’t want people to know so they can jack up the prices!!!!

And when countries become the corporations, it is even a bigger and savvier business.
Tough oil is indeed a finite resource that will surely, eventually dry up, we are just at the moment a captive, sometimes willing, audience of a grand PR campaign that oil is running out pretty soon.
Good business move and excellent marketing communications on their part, actually. They are piggybacking on the current alarmist trend.
