This could have been an error on the part of the government. Blaming the government always leads to nothing. It only encourages them to be in a state of apathy. Compare Chinese government with the Indian one, they seem like 300 gods

LOL!

The government scares, then pacifies.

Could the only cause be from milk??? My younger son had kidney stones at age 10,the doctors wanted to cut him from belly button to spine...They said it was caused by the massive mineral in our rural water...In the end, we didn’t allow them to operate, with homeopathic drugs, he passed the stones without pain in less than 18 hours..

I don’t think it’s from the milk alone, Oscar, if ever the milk has even anything to do with it.

Kidney stones, I believe, come from mineral deposits such s calcium.

I think, in this case, the calcium in the milk found its way into the dreaded melamine.

This is scary Grace...though atleast the Government is acting on it. In India, half the time it goes on undetected and misdiagnosed till it reaches a state form where its a painful surgical procedure that remains as the only option.

Thanks, Reshmi.

This is serious matter here right now. The Philippines is drowning in all things Chinese. The government has already pulled out all Chinese milk and milk products, but the Chinese trade here is so well-entrenched.

But it’s quite alarming the current rate of kidney stone cases among children in at least 3 major hospitals.Medical practitioners are tending to think that these cases are really connected to the melamine scare.
