The Philippine eagle (Pithecophaga jefferyi) is one of the two largest eagles in the world. It is the tallest eagle (can exceed eight feet) and holds the world record for wingspan. It is also a vanishing species.

It is weird that most endangered birds and animals look so great. If only we had a better chance at saving them..
