A resumption of hostility and war in the Southern Kordofan, a region right in the central Sudan, will rip the country far apart. Nuba who were allied to Southerners are likely to shift to Darfurians for coalition. Khartoum is likely to mobilize the fear of the Arab tribes, the Bagarra, to fight her war against their traditional nemesis the African Nuba nationalities.
