Does he possess character traits that add up to a good human being - the willingness to forgive, praise, be courteous? Or is he inclined to fits of rage, to be a control freak, to be envious of you, to be secretive?

One should take extreme care in taking final decision of marriage. But simply ”Marriages are mad in heaven and preformed on earth” is still true. Take example of Prince Charles and Diana, all test and secret reports were positive about the couple’s marriage before their marriage.
But what happened lastly ?

Hehe... Your typo, Yamin, made me laugh. But only because of what it cnsequently connoted (”Marriages are mad in heaven...”).

Charles and Diana, if you wish to read up more on it, was really a marriage of convenience. That was one union that was political. Politically expedient! :):)

It was a case of a woman being perfect for a would-be-king. And getting married so that the man will be king a-s-a-p. :)

Being a bit envious of a wife is not so bad. A wife is usually the one who shows stress a bit less (I am certain that would be the case between myself and a wife anyhow)...

Wanting to control the ”situation” and being a control freak are different. Is it really wrong to want to control and be able to remedy all bad situations?
Perhaps I have no clue?
Fits of rage amount to a bad life prior to the new bride coming to be part of the equation, or most often simple insecurity.
Secrets are not such a bad thing, but secretive is wrong in a marriage.
Doesn’t really good kissing make up for any of this?

Wow! It’s so nice to see you, John, talk about something else other than McCain’s 3R Plan! Hehe...

Don’t you think sexual politics is as interesting as geopolitics? :):):)

Let’s wish that they will all just kiss and make up! :)

Kissing and making up? Kissing would solve a lot of problems and smooth situations with some people, but not with these two.
If it were the current politcal arean, I am certain McCain would lead in the dancing part anyway.

Like I said and McCain tries to tell people, this isn’t about who plays basketball better or who makes the most well read speeches, but who has the best and most viable and feasable plans.
It’s about sincerity.
Kind of like a kiss in fact.
If it isn’t sincere and meant with respect and feelings and a future...
Then it’s simply a kiss.
And to be cliche, the mafia still and to this day, gives the kiss of death just before they kill their victim.

Personally, I prefer sincere and well intended kisses with a brighter and more thought out future behind each one of them.

We are non-voters, but the upcoming US elections reverberate to our shores, till way after the repercussions.

We simply can’t escape this because of the more than 30 years of American occupation in the Philippines, plus the fact that America undeniably still ’conquers’ us culturally. The US is inescapably in the fiber of our society.

That is why this Obama-McCain thing is a matter of interest to us.
