The problem of global hunger has been raging for many decades now. Of course, it never got as much media hype as the crashing of the US financial system. The big media conglomerates won’t feature on front pages and home pages the topic of hunger everyday.

Because global hunger isn’t as sensational as the crashing of Wall St. There’s rich people’s money at stake at Wall St., and not much on the line with global hunger. Or such is the way that media thinks.
