We always say children are marginalized. That’s the reason why there are so many programs for children. And yet their plight seems to be unsolved. It’s sad how children are used as a political grandstanding talking point all the time.

Children’s development always look good on country reports of NGOs. Unfortunately, what the children should get in exchange for studying them in research do not really get to them. Hence, their plight does not change.

They and their families flee their squalid places and test the waters some place else. Most of them are undocumented as illegal aliens, thus not receiving the social services that can be availed of.
