Of course, the Chinese were probably ahead than the rest of the people in banning powdered milk and milk products. They knew better, and knew ahead. I’m sure they were on a massive alert right away.

Thank God! It’s better if our kids don’t have the milk nutrition at all, but stay away from the toxic milk. Milk powder is something that can very well mix up with any white powder. So the chances are many. Well, food poisoning is too common now a days and no act has been able to check it.

The events recent in China, Olympics,Space venture, this great country emerging into the 21st century events with the milk powder is a great tragedy.

China has immense ability to produce anything. It is the quality controls that need refinement and cultural change to admit error without fear. I am sure many ordinary Chinese people have the will to do so and are trying very hard in the face of this crisis and perhaps the fear of losing reputation as a global player in the markets for export.

I am convinced the Chinese government are doing everything they can to introduce, monitor industrial practice. One has to remember the difficult past restrictions and culture was not so long ago. Instead of criticizing perhaps positive solutions, suggestions or hiring industrial at the coal face expertise would be more helpful to this great nation.

I agree with you but China has to want to have these changes first. So, I’d say a change in attitude for starters.
