I remembered her quote — ”Reconciliation should be accompanied by justice, otherwise it will not last. While we all hope for peace it shouldn’t be peace at any cost but peace based on principle, on justice. ”

We lost the legendary leader to colon cancer. Her legacy will be forever enshrined in the minds of all Filipinos as a national symbol of “People Power”. We will pray her soul rests in peace.]]> Grace, Cory was a well renowned advocate for democracy, peace and women empowerment. I think she was the first female President of the Philippines and was first Asia’s female President.
