Yes, they have, but in my humble opinion it&#8217;s a little more subtle than that. Sexual abuse of women in your own army is not the same as for civilian women in conquered countries.<br/>

The rape of women in conquered territory is often due to;<br/>
<br/>
a) &#8221;We are humiliating your defeated soldiers and husbands&#8221;<br/>
<br/>
and<br/>
<br/>
b)&#8221;We are avenging our fallen brothers&#8221;.<br/>
<br/>
Not at all pretty, but nothing to do with misogynous feelings (even if the perpetrators may well be misogynous people).<br/>
