You’re right. Suicide and mental illness are an alarmingly escalating social malaise. Since there’s no way for us mere mortals to control the forces of economy and avert its lashings as caused by the demi-gods, we would do well to shore up ways to strengthen interpersonal health and intrapersonal relations.

Now, more than ever, the family unit will have to be solidified so as to make a person feel that life does not revolve around problems caused by economic fear and paranoia.

This is a time of dread, indeed.

Already a highly educated non-resident Indian in California who was earning handsomely killed himself after killing his whole family that included his wife’s relatives a few days back because of huge financial losses arising out of the economic slump.
